Do I need a Credly account?

No. Syncing is optional — everything works with certifications entered by hand. Connecting a profile just means you stop having to.

Will syncing duplicate what I already entered?

No. A synced badge takes over the record you entered by hand, keeping the same attachments and history, and keeps it current from then on.

My employer invited me — what do I do?

Open the link in your invitation email and choose a password. There’s no approval wait and no verification step. Links expire after 7 days.

Can my manager see my whole record?

They see certification and CAC status for people in the org units they manage. Managers outside your unit see nothing.

Credly

Covers CompTIA, AWS, Cisco, PMI, IBM and every other issuer that awards badges through Credly. Reads your public profile — never your password — and it's off until you turn it on.

Microsoft Learn

Microsoft left Credly, so Microsoft certifications come through their own channel — a linked public profile, or a daily tenant-wide import for organizations on Learn organizational reporting.
